Concrete Sealing, in practice
Sealing is done after cleaning and after the concrete has dried properly — usually a day or two later in this climate, longer after rain. Sealing damp concrete traps the moisture underneath, and it shows up as a cloudy white haze that can only be removed by stripping the whole thing.
Penetrating sealers soak in and change almost nothing about how the concrete looks; film-forming sealers sit on top and give a wet or gloss look.
